  • For years the Dutch 'Design Manual for Bicycle Traffic' (and its earlier version 'Sign up for the bike') has been considered worldwide as authoritative resource for the planning and design of cycling-friendly infrastructure. In the framework of its Bicycle Partnership Program I-CE could convince the publisher CROW and the Fietsberaad (center of expertise on bicycle policy) to make this Dutch design manual available in Spanish. The translation was made by Lake Sagaris, based on the English version of this Dutch manual. (It should be noted that the Spanish is Latin American Spanish, rather than Spanish Spanish.) This Spanish version is only available as pdf and can be downloaded here. NB The manual can be used as reference material, but it has copyright. For copying and pasting (parts of) the content into new publications permission has to be obtained from the publisher CROW.
